Ever since after Jonny Wilkinson, there has been no other player capable of meeting that World Class status at England, Eddie Jones, England’s coach believes. However, he hopes that this could change very soon.

Jones believes that a number of players in his current squad may soon reach that heralded status.
England who had been on an 11 game winning streak since the takeover of Jones as coach, faced Argentine, defeating their opponents at the Twickenham last Saturday, and thus extending their winning streak to 13 games.
Owen Farrell, Billy Vunipola and George Ford, who had all started in the game against Pumas had played some sensational game and were pushing hard to be included in a global XV.
Jones, while speaking before the game against the Pumas had said,
“If you look at the record of English rugby since 2003, there’s only been one world-class player produced and that’s Jonny Wilkinson,”
He also added that a number of his players were on the move towards the world class area. More »
